Newtown Fall Floor Hockey Clinics

Day - Friday

Dates -  September 19th - November 7th (OFF 10/24 & 10/31)

Venue - Reed Auxiliary Gym, Newtown

Times -  5.00pm - 6.00pm - 6-8 year olds

6.00pm - 7.00pm - 9-12 year olds

Description: This fall we will be running an indoor floor hockey clinic over a 6 week period.  Throughout the 6 week clinics coaches will work on individual player development as well as teamwork and game rules. Staff will strive to provide the best experience for each player, while teaching the fundamentals of the game.

Some of the fundamental’s players will learn at the clinics will include -

- Shooting the ball/puck

- Stick handling and finding the dominant hand i.e. (left hand shot or right)

- Foot work

- Offensive skill and defensive skill

All activities will take place in an atmosphere which promotes good sportsmanship, teamwork and most of all, FUN!

Staff will provide the sticks and pucks on a weekly basis.

Players should bring with them some water, indoor sneakers and you can also bring your own stick - if you have one.
